With good access to rail and port infrastructure, Coal of Africa can effectively service both domestic and international markets, providing a much-needed resource for economic growth and development for the country and the provinces in which we operate.

KEY PROJECTS
Vele
Vele will comprise both open-cast and underground coking coal operations. It will be developed in two phases, with the potential to produce 1 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) of saleable coal in the first phase of operation. More on Vele
Makhado
Following lab and processing analysis of the bulk sample the coking coal has been provided to ArcelorMittal South Africa to test in their coking ovens at Vanderbijlpark, the results of which will facilitate the finalisation of the terms and conditions of the offtake agreement. More on Makhado
